About Mark Peart
Mark Peart - CEO
Mark’s passion and skill base lies in recognising opportunities in business and making them commercially viable, with a diverse background in property development, aviation and agriculture.
With a focus on new land developments in regional and rural areas, Mark has successfully completed over 20 property development projects in regional Queensland (QLD) through his own companies and in joint ventures.
Mark has a flair for seeing the value in raw land and finding strategic solutions to create financial return.
Mark began his career as a commercial helicopter pilot which led to launching and operating aviation companies throughout Australia.
His aviation business management experience expanded into the property industry, where he has successfully delivered a number of residential and rural land developments.
Mark is the Managing Director of Light Jets Australia, a company he launched in 2011 after recognising a gap in the market for a fully integrated private jet charter company specialising in light jets.
He is also a Director of Archerfield Jet Base, a Brisbane Fixed Base Operator, providing aircraft storage, passenger and pilot amenities, and support services for private flyers.
With strong ties to the land, Mark founded DIT Technologies based on the legacy work of his father and uncle on water supplementing cattle in Australia. Utilising new technology and innovation, he has since transformed DIT into one of Australia‘s leading Ag technology companies.
In addition to his Australian and FAA Airline Pilot Licences and Commercial Helicopter Licence, Mark holds a MBA from Deakin University in Melbourne.
His passions are his family, flying and coming to work every day seeing his team engaged and happy.
Property Development History
Mark’s interest in the property market first sparked in the early 1990’s when developing a number of houses in South East QLD. Part of the appeal of property development was the creative outlet it provided, allowing him to develop ideas from scratch and turn them into reality.
In the mid 1990’s Mark developed his first large project – a mini storage development in western QLD. Many industrial shed and house developments followed and in 2005, Mark ventured into his first sub division at Mareeba in Far North QLD.
Since his first land project Mark has delivered over 20 projects to completion across QLD, developing hundreds of land lots. Projects have ranged from large-scale rural residential developments to small lot inner city housing sites, turn key houses, industrial land and retirement living.
Completed Projects Include:
· Gormans Gap Estate
· Mount Elliot Country Estate
